When we think of a person, we often think only of the snippets of their life we have been fortunate (or unfortunate enough) to see. The pieces they choose to show us. The moments we happen to witness. The surface.

And that is true of everything. We build our understanding of people, places, and things from the fragments available to us, never quite knowing what exists beyond them.

But every person is deeper than the version we know.

Submerged Studio is an exploration of those depths. Not just the beautiful or the familiar, but every strange, unexpected, fascinating little facet that sparks an artist's curiosity. Fantasy, stories, characters, paintings, sculptures, crafts, experiments, and whatever else happens to capture my imagination.

Sometimes you'll find exactly what you expected.

Sometimes you'll be horrified.

Sometimes you'll be surprised.

And sometimes, you may discover something you never knew you were looking for.

Because there is no limit to what can exist beneath the surface. You never truly know what you'll find when you dive deeper.

Our Story

Submerged Studio is a family-owned art studio that began with Jessica's artistic explorations. What started as one artist following her imagination has grown to include her son, Gavin, and his own creative endeavors. Behind the scenes, her husband provides constant support, helping with everything from technical challenges to the everyday work of getting art into the hands of its new owners.

Like the people behind it, Submerged Studio is constantly evolving. As our family grows, so do our interests, our creativity, and the unexpected directions our curiosity takes us.

We don't know exactly where this journey will lead, but that's part of the adventure.
