The original Hanged Man from my tarot deck.

The Hanged Man is about pausing, stepping away from the rush of everyday life, and allowing yourself to see things from a different perspective. My interpretation of this card explores the importance of recognizing when you need to stop pushing forward and give yourself time to rest, recover, and breathe. Sometimes a pause is not a setback. It is exactly what we need to find our way again.

The Hanged Man also reminds us that not every problem needs to be solved by pushing harder. Changing our surroundings, slowing our thoughts, or simply giving ourselves permission to rest can reveal things we couldn't see while caught in the middle of everything. Like the seasons, we have periods of growth and periods when we need to go quiet and recover.

This is the original painting created for the tarot deck, the actual artwork used to create the card, rather than a print or reproduction.

The painting is ready to find a new home with someone who connects with her.
