The original Sun from my tarot deck.

The Sun is a reminder that even the darkest periods of our lives eventually give way to light. My interpretation of this card isn't about forcing yourself to be happy when you're hurting, but about finding small ways to bring comfort, kindness, and joy into your life while you make your way through the darkness. Sometimes that means something as simple as a warm drink or clean clothes; sometimes it means doing something silly, creative, or playful just because it makes you smile.

The Sun reminds us that joy doesn't have to be complicated. There is still wonder to be found, and sometimes we simply need to give ourselves permission to go looking for it.

This is the original painting created for the tarot dec, the actual artwork used to create the card, rather than a print or reproduction.

The painting is ready to find a new home with someone who connects with her.
